On January 27th, 2009 The Lomographic Society is opening a Lomography Gallery Store in New York City. The location will feature the biggest and most exciting international destination for all your Lomographic needs. The new location will also serve as the New York Lomography Embassy, as well as destination point for weekly workshops about cameras, analog photographic techniques, guest speakers, and neighborhood LomoJourneys where guests can check out loaner cameras to experience the fun of Lomography first hand. Aside from the retail front, the Lomography Gallery Store will serve as a gallery and meeting point featuring events, parties, and exhibitions, including a stop by the Diana World Tour in November 2009 where hundreds of classic Diana cameras from the 60s & 70s will be on display in the USA for the first time ever.

Yes Yes Yes

The last word is the Hebrew word for “Yes,” and is read “Ken.” This ad is a play on the phonetics of the 3 languages word for Yes and if you read them aloud the would read “Yes We Ken.”

Lessondary 101: Study the Greats

Jeff Staple is one of my favorite people, he pretty much started the retro sneaker craze, the concept of the urban brand collaboration and my rap career. He doesn't follow trends, he leads them. That's why he'll be around forever.

Lessondary 101: study the greats

Apparently there are parts of the world where DJ Clark Kent is more known as an Air Force 1 guru than a classic hip hop producer, while most heads where I'm from don't even know that the man behind their favorite rapper's favorite song has a mean kick game. Read up on both sides of one of Brooklyn's favorite sons in this extensive interview at Inquiringmind

I guess I can pay more attention to my little corner of the innernets. so yeah I think I'll redesign this peice as weel. I'm actually working on a whole campaign design for my 09 projects but I won't go too much into those until they are closer to completion.
